I was trying something different than your standard sunset. This photo has an awesome purplish hint to it.

Very interesting colour combination, I just tweaked the levels.

It is so much fun making these kinds of photos. All you need is a tripod, a long exposure (30 seconds in this case) and a torch.

I took this photo around the same time as this one. It maybe even one of those two flying away.

I got within a few centimetres of this guy, and he didn’t seem troubled. It is one of my few photos where I used a flash (it was night).

Seagulls are crazy. I took this in Hermanus, with them circling all around, going mad.

The focus is not 100%, but I think the sense of action makes up for it.

This is a photo of part of a wire heart, that was used in our wedding. I used a very high iso, hence the high amount of noise, I think it gives quite a nice effect.
